Mr Stanley Jeremiah has LLB and LLM Degrees from the University of London. He was admitted as a Barrister (Gray’s Inn) in 1984 and as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1986. In 1997 he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court (England & Wales).

He has had extensive experience as a practising lawyer, as in-house counsel and in various management positions in country, regional and global roles with multi-national corporations. He has been stationed in several countries including Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Stanley has had a strong connection with the Insurance and Financial Services industries. He has been involved in both the legal and management aspects of Insurance and Financial Services.

He was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1994 and elected as a Fellow in 1997. He is also a Fellow of the Singapore Insurance Institute and served three terms as President of that institute.

More recently, he has been involved with the Human Resource outsourcing industry, in the management and administration of Employee Benefits and Payroll outsourcing. He has a strong background in the provision of Group Employee Benefits Insurance Schemes, as an Insurer, as an Intermediary and as an outsource administrator.

In addition to being a lawyer, Stanley has been a seasoned business executive, and was responsible for revenues of hundreds of millions of dollars and involved in multi-million dollar transactions.

Related to his extensive commercial and Financial Services involvement, Stanley is a strong advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution. He was admitted as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 1989 and admitted as a Member in 1999.
